We are proud to be the producers of frozen potato products for  such leading brands as Aviko, Farm Frites and McDonald's.

In 2006 marketing and sales departments of Aviko and Farm Frites were separated from FFP what led to a change in the company structure. Both brands now operate as  separate legal entities. Nevertheless, as founding companies, they have retained shares in FFP and are its principal owners.

Farm Frites is one of FFP's two shareholders. The company was established in 1971 in Oudenhoorn in the Netherlands by Gerrit de Bruijne. Initially the plant produced 700 tons of fresh French fries annually. In 1975, following further investments, production increased to 7.500 tons annually and it has been rising ever since. Other key events - impacting the development of  Farm Frites in the world - were the establishement of a joint venture enterprise in Egypt in 1989, starting business in Argentina in 1996 and setting up a strategic alliance in 1999 with Simplot, the US potato processor.

Currently, Piet de Bruijne, son of Gerrit, iheads this ever independent and family run company. With its 8 production plants (in Europe, Egypt and Argentina) and 17 sales offices (e.g. in China, Guatemala, Brasil and Poland), Farm Frites employs 1.800 people and sells its products to over 40 countries around the world.

Every year over 1.500.000 tons of potatoes are processed into 30 different potato products. A traditional appearance and full-bodied flavour typify all Farm Frites products.

Food service market is a key element of the company's activities A major factor in maintaining a leading position on the market is the company's close ties with its clients and its ability to adapt to the expectations of the local market. This, together with its experience and knowledge in the field of potato cultivation and processing, helps to keep the customer satisfied.

Similarly, this specialization in its food service offer has helped Farm Frites become the  exclusive supplier of French fries to the McDonald's restaurants chains in Egypt and Argentina.

Aviko Group is one of two FFP's shareholders. Its headquarter is n Steenderen, near Arnhem in Holland. The Aviko Group has 10 plants and has sales offices in all major European countries. It employs 1.700 staff. The company was founded in 1962 by 32 farmers. Since August 2002 its sole shareholder is Royal Cosun.

The Aviko plants process 1.700.000 tons of potatoes annually, and its turnover amounts to 600.000.000 euro per year. Its portfolio includes about 75 different potato products, mostly pre-cooked and pre-fried. The group holds strong market position in food service, restaurants and fast food bars, as well as in the retail and industry sector.

In 2006, it took over 70% of the shares of Algen AB, which has 25% of the market share of Swedish chilled potato products. Aviko is currently the world's largest supplier of chilled French fries, above all to snack bars. The acquisition in January 2008 of two Belgian companies, Eurofreez and Seru&Annoot, contributes to the product portfolio of Aviko. In the spring of the same year, Aviko opened its first factory in China where it manufactures potato products, such as granules and flakes.

Other segments of the Aviko Group are: Aviko Potato (procurement of raw material), Duynie Nijmidon (trading company and starch processor) and Aviko Rixona (European market leader for granules and flakes).

McDonald's  is the largest and best known chain fast food restaurants in the world. Every day in over 100 countries, 50 million customers visit one of its 30.000 restaurants. Similarly, McDonald's is one of the best famous and most respected brands. Its activities are characterized by three basic principles: Quality, Service and Cleanliness. McDonald's is a keen promoter of a healthy lifestyle, including the promotion of physical activity and good wellbeing. As such, it was the first fast food restaurant to introduce transparency in the display of the nutritional value of its dishes. One of its more recent initiatives was the reduction of trans type fats in the food to 2%.

McDonald's menu is based on the same basic elements all over the world. French fries are certainly one of the company's icons. Farm Frites Poland SA has been McDonald's supplier ever since 1995. The highest quality of our French fries means they are delivered to around 700 McDonald's restaurants in the 12 following countries: Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Ukraine, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Russia, Belarus, Serbia, Sweden and Bulgaria.

FFP's cooperation with McDonald's goes beyond standard commercial relationship. The President and CEO of Farm Frites Poland SA is a member of the Polish Board of the Ronald McDonald Foundation which, being a part of Ronald McDonald House Charities, supports programs that directly improve the health and well being of children. Moreover, suppliers are considered to be one of the three "legs" of the "three-legged stool model", which also includes McDonald's corporation and its franchisees. This is reflected in joined initiatives, one example being the ongoing improvement of MacFries' quality. The open communication style adopted by McDonald's means that suppliers, such as FFP, can participate in meetings during which the company's plans and strategies for the upcoming years are presented and discussed. Thanks to this Farm Frites Poland SA feels like an important member of the McDonald's family.
